WM Splitter

Imagine that you have just downloaded a large audio book from the Web and you would like to split it into several chapters, each corresponding to a smaller audio file. Or you have downloaded a TV show and you want to trim the commercials from the show. For all these situations, Windows alone cannot help you, as the operating system doesn't include a tool for this kind of tasks.

A solution to this problem would be to install WM Splitter. This Windows program allows you to split any video or audio file into several smaller parts, by providing a graphical interface and an intuitive marker system. After installing and running the application, the user will first need to import the desired audio or video file into the program's interface. WM Splitter is compatible with a wide range of video and audio formats and doesn't have a maximum limit for the file size or length.

After the desired media file has been imported into the application, the next step is to select the areas which should be split. This can be performed by using several markers. An unlimited number of markers can be used. After the areas have been configured, the next step is to select the location and configure the file names for the output media files which should be created. Besides adding markers using the mouse cursor, the user can also configure the areas that should be split by manually entering the corresponding time for each marker. This ensures maximum precision when adding markers.

After the areas for splitting the media file have been configured, the user can create the output files with a single mouse click, by accessing the large "Trim" button.
